Blackberry Crumble

There is something so mouth-watering about a homemade blackberry crumble to me. I love the fruit, but I really love the crumble topping– it is so decadent and addictive! This easy blackberry crumble recipe was a fun afternoon project with my kids, and it put a big smile on everyone’s face!

Blackberry Crumble

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of fresh blackberries (or frozen – slightly thawed)

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Coat an 8×8-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

Prepare the fruit by combining the blackberries, sugar, and cornstarch in a large bowl until mixed well.

Place in the oven to bake for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the crumble topping by combining the flour, oats, sugar, butter, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. Mix the ingredients using your fingers until crumbly.

  1. I have never had a blackberry crumble. It looks really good. Bookmarked for when local blackberries are in season.
