6ozthin green beansharicot verts, trimmed & washed

Instructions
Heat the butter and crushed red pepper flakes in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the washed and trimmed green beans (or haricot verts) to the skillet, then season with white pepper and ground ginger to taste.
Cover with a lid and cook for 2-3 minutes or until fork-tender.
Add the minced garlic and soy sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes. I used thin haricot verts, but if you use bigger green beans, add more cooking time. Side Note: Add a tablespoon or two of water if the pan is dry.
