Place the asparagus spears on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season them well with sea salt, freshly cracked black pepper, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes to taste.
Top with shredded Parmesan cheese and place in the oven to roast for about 5-7 minutes, or until the asparagus is fork-tender.
