Ingredients
Burgers:
2garlic clovesminced
½tspfresh gingergrated
1green onionthinly sliced
2tbspfresh cilantrochopped
½tbspsoy sauce
½tbsprice wine vinegar
1tbspsesame oil
1lbground turkey
Spicy Mayonnaise:
¼cupof mayonnaise
½-1tspof sriracha sauce
Zest and juice of 1/2 a lime
Other Ingredients:
4hamburger buns,toasted
Tomato slices
Mixed greens
Avocado slices
Instructions
Make the turkey burger mixture by combining the garlic, ginger, green onions, cilantro, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and sesame oil in a large bowl and stirring to combine.
Add the ground turkey and gently mix it using your hands. Divide the mixture into 6 balls, then form each into a patty.
Prepare the spicy mayonnaise by combining the mayonnaise, sriracha, lime zest, and lime juice in a bowl. Mix until well combined. Set aside.
Cook the turkey burgers by heating a large skillet or grill pan coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Once hot, cook the burgers for about 4 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
To serve, place the burger on the bottom toasted bun, slathered with some spicy mayonnaise. Top the burgers with more spicy mayo, tomatoes, mixed greens, and avocado, followed by top toasted bun.
