The Cuisinart Electric Kettle is designed for every occasion and equipped with 1500 watts of power for fast heating. This 1.7-liter capacity PerfecTemp electric tea kettle brings up to 1-2/3 liters of water to a boil in a matter of minutes. Better than that, it offers 6 different preset heat settings, which allows for steeping tea at just the right temperature depending on the variety. Using the simple one-touch controls on the kettle's handle, select 160°F for delicate teas, 175°F for green tea, 185°F for white tea, 190°F for oolong tea, 200°F for French press coffee, and Boil for black tea or to make instant cocoa, oatmeal, noodles, and more. Additional features of this Cuisinart kettle include a stay-cool nonslip handle, a lid release button, a blue backlit water window with measurement marks, a concealed heating element to prevent mineral buildup, and a removable, washable scale filter. The Cuisinart tea kettle features a dripless pour spout and boil-dry protection with auto shutoff to provide safety and ease of use. The easy-to-use one-touch controls include a Start button and a Keep Warm button, which maintains your selected temperature for up to 30 minutes. A user manual with recipes comes included. The BPA-free Cuisinart Electric Kettle measures approximately 8.8″ x 6.1″ x 9.75″ and comes with a limited 3-year warranty.
