The FINEX 10" Cast Iron Skillet features an ultra-polished, easy release cooking surface that's perfect for searing, pan-frying, sauteing, baking, and more. Wound from 300 series stainless steel and hand polished to high luster, our handles stay cool longer, cool off quicker and feel better in the hand. Inspired by vintage wood stove door handles, they bring high-end fit and finish to a time honored design. FINEX: Inspired by vintage American cast iron skillets, fashioned for the demands of the contemporary kitchen, and crafted by hand in the USA. Size: 17.2" x 10" x 3.2. Cooking Surface: 8.75". Weight: 6.3 lbs FINEX is a small team of craftspeople, cooks and designers dedicated to crafting cookware that will stand the test of time. Each pan is created by a pouring a special metallurgical mix of molten iron into a sand cast mold with a new mold being created for each and every pan. This sand casting technique creates a textured surface that may also show occasional depression or pinpoint. From this stage, each pan requires 12 pairs of hands to produce a finished product. The interior cooking surface is ground by hand to a polished satin consistency then Seasoning oil is hand applied. The handcrafted seasoned pan is then finished in high temperature commercial ovens that creates a stick-resistant surface that is all natural and chemical free. This seasoning creates a visible surface texture and a color variance that is typical of seasoning on polished or ground cast iron surfaces. Each pan may have subtle surface color variations that disappear with use. Our Good Forever Guarantee means we'll replace any product that ever fails."
